CORPORATE SOCIAL INVESTMENT
At INFINITI SKILLS we are committed to social development. In collaboration with the Department of Tourism and Social Development, we participated in a work skills readiness programme with 20 unemployed youth providing soft skills and computer literacy courses.
On completion of the courses, we assisted the youth with finding career opportunities and on completion of the 6-month work and readiness programme, we found their placements in the corporate space. This helped them to gain workplace experience and potentially permanent employment.
Infiniti Skills are currently actively involved in the area of Scottsdene/Scottsville to expose young people to other ways of enjoying life, other than what is happening in their neighbourhood. We work with the youth at building their confidence and self-esteem and not feel like second-rate citizens because of where they live.
In October 2015, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSI), we provided the residents and staff of the Kraaifontein Old Age Home with a hot nutritious meal and provided entertainment for the 175 residents and staff of the centre.
