Objective:

These unit standards require of learners to demonstrate the ability to implement and maintain health, safety and environmental legislation in a workplace.

Unit Standards:

120366:  Demonstrate understanding of the implementation of occupational health, safety and environmental legislation in the work place

123369:  Implement environmental improvements to a site, facility, operation or process

Outcomes:

• Explain the legislative framework of health, safety and environmental legislation at the workplace.
• Demonstrate knowledge pertaining to the requirements regarding a company’s health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and codes.
• Explain the implementation and maintenance of health, safety and environmental legislation in a workplace.
