Objective:

The skills, values and knowledge reflected in this skills program are required by people who have to solve operational problems in a familiar context in a manufacturing and/or assembly process. Qualifying learners are able to identify and analyse the problem, identify possible solutions and implement a solution to meet operational requirements.

Outcomes:

At the end of the skills programme, learners will be able to:

  • Formulate an activity plan to improve productivity within the organisational unit.
  • Analyse the quantitative and non-quantitative factors influencing productivity to identify the root causes of low productivity in a functional unit.
  • Define and analyse an operational problem, identify and implement solutions.
